Ill be bringing my Laptop to the hotel, and Digi camera to ASIA, and am going to do my very best to report every evening right here at the OLF with pictures and blurbs on the days activities and events that I attend. Hopefully there will be lots of great pictures, maybe some funny ones, ill be on the lookout for a smiley Ukee being played by a guy from RI!

Lance,

Great idea, thanks for taking the time to do that. Be sure to take lots of pictures of OLFers so we can put a name to face.

Wish I could go, I know you are going to have a blast!

Jeff

I heard Don's been practicing "She'll be coming Round The Mountain" on his uke.

Thanks for thinking of us less fortunate OLFers, Lance. It should be a good time. Enjoy.

Great idea! Lance. I've been lamenting the fact that I can't attend. Your generous offer will only cause me to kick my ass even harder. Looking forward to seeing the pics. Make sure you have a few bottles in honor of those of us left behind.

Now if we could just get ASIA to start taping the symposium for folks who can't attend. Well, at least some of the presentations. Could be a money maker for ASIA or least provide material for blackmail. You listen' Rick.

I want to add my thanks as well Lance.

For those of us that are pretty new to all of this, I can't imagine a better place to hang out for information and inspiration. Everyone here is just great.

I am sending a guitar with Craig Lavin. The body is finished in KTM-9 and I clearly do not have control over that medium. If you take a picture, just don't take it of the back. There are three deminsional witness lines, and one place where the buffing wheel took the finish down to a few pores. If it sounds like I am feeling negative about water born finishes, you are right. This guitar will be refinished in nitro when it gets back.

Anyway, Craig's inlay looks superb

John
